Recently-constructed State Route 65 in western Placer County, north of Lincolnville, provides passage for aquatic systems and potentially wildlife. The purpose of the project is to evaluate what wildlife are using these underpasses.

LEAF School Wildlife Monitoring
Students in the Learn and Serve Environmental Anthropology Field (LEAF) School monitor wildlife at a variety of sites in Western Washington as service-learning projects with local tribes, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
